Introducing Game Day Catering!

Nothing makes me happier than a house full of friends and family watching the game on a crisp fall day. I especially love it when my teenagers invite their friends over, too.

Lately, my son keeps reminding me to bring home Deep Roots catering whenever he hosts game day, because his friends always request our chicken, mac, and tots. At some point, we realized we'd created a pretty terrific game day spread, so we wanted to share it with all of you.

So here it is: the Game Day Spread. $139, feeds 10 to 12, and you only need to give us an hour.

Here's what you get. Two and a half pounds of chicken bites, and you can choose up to three flavors. Original, Buffalo, Chimi, or Honey BBQ. (I'm Team Chimi, for the record. So good!)

Then pick three sides: Mozzarella Triangles with marinara, Loaded Tater Tots, Mac & Cheese, or Caesar Salad. (The Caesar is so you feel good about having something green on the table.)

If you want to go bigger, you can load the tots with turkey chili and jalapeños, add bacon to the mac, or make it BBQ pulled pork mac & cheese.

And then there's dessert. Our Grassroots ice cream is made in our own Granby creamery. Grab a few pints ($8) or ice cream sandwiches ($8.50) to complete your spread.
